R&S Honored with Safety Award
The Construction Employers’ Association recognized 10-member companies for safety excellence with its 2017 President’s Safety Awards. They were presented January 16th at the association’s annual meeting in Concord. CEA represents more than 100 mid-to large-sized unionized commercial general contractors in Northern California.
President’s Award winners are recognized for having achieved a total injury and incident rate at least 50% below the industry average; a lost workday rate at least 50% below the industry average; an experience modification (X-Mod) of .70 or below; having been a participant in Cal/OSHA’s Voluntary Protection Program (VPP); or otherwise demonstrated a comprehensive safety training program.
