Jon Foad Succeeds Martin Sisemore as President
Rudolph and Sletten, Inc. recently announced that Jon Foad, previously Sr. Vice President, Operations for Northern California, has been named President. Jon succeeds Martin Sisemore, who continues to serve as CEO.
Foad brings to his position 31 years of construction management experience at R&S, including 12 years in executive leadership roles. Prior to his current position, Foad led the company’s growth and development in the Greater Sacramento region and San Francisco Bay Area. Today, this region accounts for approximately 70 percent of R&S’ corporate volume.
Foad has had a management role in more than $5.5 billion worth of contracts for notable clients such as California Department of General Services, the University of California and California State University systems, Washington Hospital, Hewlett-Packard and Kaiser Permanente.

Foad is a firm believer in servant leadership. He is recognized within the construction industry as a genuine leader of teams of people, for holding himself to the highest ethical standards and as a passionate builder, innovator and problem-solver. He began his career at R&S under the tutelage of the company’s founders, Ken Sletten and Onslow “Rudy” Rudolph, and he’s proud to keep their legacy alive.
Within R&S, Foad has been an active member of the Corporate Safety Leadership Team and Corporate Technology Leadership Team. He’s developed corporate scheduling standards, served as a trainer for contract and risk management, and led the company’s quality management efforts.
Foad is a LEED Accredited Professional and a Board member of the Construction Employers’ Association. He has a Bachelor of Science in Construction Management from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo.
