The project had a preconstruction phase with design-assists subs providing BIM modeling to allow an accelerated start and success in a compressed schedule. The construction phase transformed an existing shell building to comprise of a biology lab, chemistry lab, process development lab, fermentation lab and open office space. It also included the installation of an N2 bulk tank enclosure, high purity water system and laboratory gases.
